Pin Prick Portrait Development 12: Watercolour

Pin prick pushed through from reverse; wet on wet application of watercolour; one colour

Pin pricks pushed from reverse; wet on wet application of watercolour; 3 colours

I like to use wet on wet watercolour application for the unpredictable merging and spread of he paint.  I think the way the paint has seeped into some of the holes but not others is interesting, giving depth and shadow in these areas.  I like the blending of colours more than the single colour, and I would like to experiment further with a more complex / detailed image.
