I often work in collage so I decided to create a layered, mixed media collage using one of the monoprint compositions to create the individual elements. I had hoped that by using the foil as the substrate the amount of light passing through the other layers would be enhanced by its reflectiveness, but this was not the case. Rather it deadened the effect. I do, however, like the contrast between the foil and the white mediums. I would like to further experiment with mixed mediums and with layering.
Really like your move to silver foil, you might try other household papers and materials as well such as baking paper.
